Barton Manor is devoted to the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and only the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. We feel that in order to do a breed justice, it must be the only one.
Here at Barton Manor we are proud to say that we are a multi generation family run operation established over twenty five years ago. As a former horse breeder, Cheri Barton has taken her many years of experience and applied it to our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeding program. It has allowed us to recognize good structure and great temperament, and given us the opportunity to place quality Swissy puppies into wonderful family homes.
We are an open book, and in keeping with that policy we have created this site to give you an opportunity to see our dogs and visit our facilities on the internet. For a first hand experience we also host open houses periodically throughout the year.

It’s your puppy . . . . .
At Barton Manor we do not require mandatory co-ownership of our Swissys as a means of having control. When one of our puppies joins your family, we are confident that we have placed him/her into a wonderful, loving home. You may choose to show, breed, weight pull, get involved in therapy work, train your Swissy for search & rescue, or merely have a best friend. With a Barton Manor puppy it will always be YOUR choice.
